The memorial Marx-Engels Forum in Berlin-Mitte, a relic from the East German era, is the initial point for this photo series. Six tall steel-plates with imprinted photographies from the history of the labor movement form a part of the forum. The artists behind these steel-plates named this work: "the world-revolutionary process from Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels until the present".
My pictures were taken at late night with the so called nightshot-technique that allows to take photographs in the darkness without using a flashlight, but leaving behind a "shear of light" on the picture. Is it possible to use these digital photos from the forum and thereby add a new, "more open" narrative sight to the photographies - i.e. the people and events?
